“This was my first BMO Vancouver Marathon and it was an awesome event. The spectators were loud and plentiful and the weather was phenomenal. I think it was a neat initiative to throw in the Camosun Hill challenge. I definitely enjoyed it and I’ll just have to go a bit faster next year!” – local Mike McMillan [2nd, King of the Hill Challenge].

“After doing some research and finding out that the BMO Vancouver Marathon was one of the best destination marathons in the world, couldn’t pass it up. The event was amazing. I enjoyed the course. The crowd support at the exchange zones was unbelievable!”- Ryan Oberneir, who traveled and ran with his former collegiate coach. [1st Marathon Relay – Male and Overall]

“We are a group of women runners who are part of larger “club”… We thought it would be fun to be a part of the event this year as a team given that we have so much fun together socially. The view is gorgeous and the crowd was full of excitement.” – Maureen Curtin [1st Marathon Relay – Female]

“It was unexpected, and we were all thrilled. Our run coach decided the legs for us based on our strengths… I got the first leg because I thrive on punishment and so got that horrible (Camosun) Hill. – Dave Menis [1st Marathon Relay – Mixed]
