To Whom It May Concern:
RE: Letter of Appreciation
We are from the AWANA Club at New Life Chinese Lutheran Church. AWANA (derived from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 in the Bible) is an international evangelical non-profit organization founded in 1950, headquartered in Streamwood, Illinois. AWANA is a place where children can learn about the Bible and memorize Scripture in a fun and exciting way.
We are very grateful that Grand Yeh came to our AWANA Club to share about his experiences of running in races. He taught the children that in order to finish any race, you need perseverance. The children were very interested in his sharing and asked him a lot of questions about training to be a runner. Grand’s sharing definitely helped them to know more about how to endure difficult times in their lives.
We greatly appreciate the McDonald's Kids MaraFun for donating T-shirts to our AWANA Club. The T-shirts will remind the children how they need to persevere during difficult times in a way that is similar to how a runner endures the race.
Thank you again!
Sincerely Yours,
Grace Yaung
Awana Director
