Participating Rules
- Groups must apply by submitting a Sign Up Form and be approved for participation
- Groups must be community-based and benefit community-based causes or projects
- Groups can sign up for a specific cheer station location, first come first serve
- Each group will have a Captain and Co-Captain and will collaborate with Community Engagement Coordinator to plan and prepare leading up to event
- Each group must have a minimum of 10 people
- Groups must reflect the diversity, neighborhoods, and culture of Vancouver
- Groups are responsible for their own costumes, props, and related expenses
- Groups are not allowed to distribute any solicitation items to participants and spectators
- Group signage must not conflict with any event sponsors
- All groups must respect and adhere to all city noise bylaws and safety rules pertaining to runner and course safety as directed by the Race Director
